This week I am beta testing the mobile app editor for Substack so I thought I’d do a quick, fun post about celebrities and fashion personalities (as they call themselves) who give us access to their wardrobes via By Rotation.

I don’t think these verified lenders are as popular as the top lenders who have genuinely built up their rental community but it’s an interesting peek into some fancy wardrobes Into-The-Gloss-style.

Celebs have always had access to one-wear outfits via PR loans, but many are now renting for big events and sharing their choices on social media. A handful have started lending too. Some, like Stacey Dooley, have briefly raised money for charities via campaigns, others have their wardrobes managed for them by the platform, such as Louise Thompson. And others might be managing their rentals themselves.

Here’s a nosey into some famous wardrobes.

Louise Thompson (renting UK size 6)

TV personality, broadcaster and author Louise rents brands including LoveShackFancy, House Of Cb and By Malina.

Jessie Bush (UK size 6)

Jessie has some items for sale as well as for rent, including dresses from Zimmermann, Three Graces and Self-Portrait.

Frankie Bridge (UK size 8)

Frankie rents luxe pieces from Saint Laurent, Rick Owen’s and Bec and Bridge.

Hannah Stratford Taylor (UK size 8)

A ready-made summer holiday wardrobe including Alexandra Miro, Celia B and lots of Yulia Magdych.

Ellie Goulding (UK size 10)

Ellie’s small selection includes Tom Ford, Erdem and Jacquemus.

Candice Brathwaite (UK size 14 and 16)

Lots of vibrant options from Candice including Stine Goya, Aje and Rotate Birger Christensen.

I found her by looking in the size 6 Top Lender collection and searching for her there. I do wish BR would let you search for their tags and collections.
